OBED Ministry Defines:
The servant of God is anyone who is in leadership in a Christ-centered ministry, either as part-time or full-time staff, both as paid or as a volunteer in a church, denomination, or para church ministries.
Christ-centered ministries are those that are founded on these truths: that the bible is the divinely inspired word of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. It is His written word to be used to not only give direction for our lives, but also as a means to encourage and empower servants of God.
We also believe that Christ-centered ministries teach the truths of the word of God as eternal, ever-applicable, inspired, and ordained for this present age. All such ministries must also adhere to the belief that only in the name of Jesus can anyone be saved. We also believe that only those who put their Faith in the name of Jesus as God’s only son, believe that He was sent from God, and openly profess that faith before men can be saved.
